The chosen RORT location for 2027, is the "Blue Lagoon Holiday Park" in Bateau Bay, on the Central Coast of NSW, about 1.5 hours drive from Sydney and about 10 minutes from The Entrance tourist hub and 20 minutes from Erina Fair which is a major shopping centre featuring over 270 shops including Myer.
“Blue Lagoon Holiday Park” boasts over 50 cabins from basic to luxury and 100 caravan sites including premium powered sites.
Sponsoring the event, is Nepean Valley Apex 40, under the guidence of the RORT Committee, including Maggie (National Membership Director) and Jamie Vincent who are liasing with local businesses to ensure that this will be a rewarding experience for all who attend.
The RORT will run from Sunday 16th May to Friday 21st May 2027, starting with a BBQ dinner on our registration night.
We will be exploring the local area on day trips, including the Chocolate factory, Edogawa Gardens, the regional art gallery and the Avoca Theatre. We will also be treated to Barefoot Bowls at Davistown RSL and a historic Brisbane Water Ferry cruise.
Most nights, we will enjoy fellowship back at "Blue Lagoon" inside our purpose built Marquee where we have engaged local caterers to bring us a spread worthy of a RORT. Entertainment has also been arranged throughout the RORT.
Our main Dinner Meeting will be held at the Davistown RSL with an excellent dinner followed by entertainment and dancing.
The festivities will conclude on Friday with the famous RORT farewell barbeque breakfast.
During the RORT there will be plenty of free time to relax and enjoy the beach, play with the Pelicans and visit the local shops.
To help members traveling to the rort by train, the committee are providing a shuttle bus service to and from Tuggerah railway station.
